About

I’m Jaana Salla, a visual artist and photographer currently studying at The Gerlesborg School of Fine Art in Sweden.

I’ve been working with analog photography since 2020, mostly using a Fujica half-frame 35mm camera. My process is intuitive and slow — a way of observing the world through emotion, humor, and presence.

In 2025, my work was part of a group exhibition at Gallery Analog Art Photography in Leipzig, Germany.

Alongside my studies, I work as a gallerist and curator at Galleri Hornsgatan 96 together with my colleague and friend Flavio Monte Lanaro, where we curate exhibitions and manage the gallery’s administration.

Before dedicating myself fully to art, I worked in communication and marketing — an experience that still informs how I see, frame, and share the world around me.
