It began with photographing myself in the mirror — quiet studies of how I look, how I appear through the lens. I rarely edit the images; I want them to remain honest,
to portray the moment just as it was.

Many are taken in the bathroom, where the light and stillness allow for a private kind of presence. Others are from Finland, at my cabin, where solitude feels softer and time slows down.

I’ve also found the same quiet intimacy in nature — reflections on water, light through branches, glimpses of the world that mirror our own emotions. The landscape becomes like a portrait too, carrying traces of what we hold within ourselves.
